Appointments at Brinson Family Medicine in Altamonte Springs, FL

In following our family-centered approach to medicine, Dr. Brinson and the staff at Brinson Family Medicine strive to meet the needs and requests of all patients to ensure they receive the care they need. We work hard to give our patients access to our physicians and medical professionals, and appreciate their cooperation in allowing us to achieve this goal. You may call our office to set up an appointment, in a non-life threatening emergency (call 911 if the emergency is life threatening), or with any questions about insurance, prescriptions, our services, or our practice.

Physicians at our office are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you have a non-life threatening emergency. Just call our office number (407) 774-7080 and your emergency will be processed by our staff right away. Emergency cases are taken right away and prioritized to ensure telephone access for the most serious cases like chest pains or hypoglycemia.


To set up an appointment, please call our office. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Hours may be subject to change.

Most patient appointment requests are met within 24 to 48 hours for convenience of all of our patients. We strive to keep office waiting periods under 30 minutes, although in some cases wait time may be longer to ensure all patients are provided a high standard of care.

Urgent care appointments are met within 24 hours, while non-urgent patients may be scheduled within 3 days. A minor illness or injury, including chronic conditions, may be treated within 7 days. Check-ups and physicals may be accommodated within 30 days.

If you must cancel your appointment, we ask that you call us 24 hours in advance to notify us. Failure to do so may result in a $25 cancellation or rescheduling fee.

Prescription Requests

Please make all prescription requests and refill requests during your visit to our office. If you are taking any medicines, please bring them with you to your appointment.

Please give us 24 hour notice for refill requests, and have the pharmacy fax the refill request to our office (407-774-7090). To ensure your medication schedule is not interrupted, please plan your refills ahead of time.

If you are requesting a new medication or would like to change your medication in some way, an office visit is required.
